‘The In-between Spaces’ investigates the dialogue between solids, lines, and the spaces they carve. These elements create tensions and connections, evoking a sense of transition and flux within the layered triangular composition. In this collection, I use architectural photography as a foundation, and throughout the process of this work the image was almost entirely obscured by the forms and meaning it has generated, leaving only faint traces. The weight of the solids contrasts with the lines and little collages using press prints from my trip to Venice during an art residency… creating moments where forms meet, overlap, or coexist. This exploration reflects my fascination with the in-between spaces in cities—realms that are fluid, transformative, and perpetually redefining their boundaries.
