I'm passionate about accessible art... so I’ve done this video to show how pretty much any tool can be used to construct art - including the most humble kitchen tools - and I'm chuffed that it has been published at the practice's website!
By the way, this piece is called ‘A letter from unimportant tools to Norman Foster’, which aims to translate onto paper a mental dialogue between the architect and the annonymous labourers daily crafting his buildings. Humble tools give shape to paintings and buildings alike, bearing the burden of a personal, laborious daily construction of art and architecture.
This piece is available from the main menu Big Works tab.
